Horisont is located at the far end of the seafront on Mjølstadneset, in Fosnavåg on Søre Sunnmøre. Here we have direct contact with the weather, the sea and the Sunnmøre mountain range as a background behind us.
Fosnavåg is the administrative centre of Herøy municipality in Sunnmøre, and in 2002 received city status.

Vigra airport in Ålesund and Hovden airport in Ørsta are the two nearest airports. From Hovden it takes 40 minutes by car. From Vigra in Ålesund, you can travel further by fast boat and bus, or by car and ferry.
If you come from Ålesund, you take the ferry from Sulesund and over to Hareidlandet. From here you follow the road through small islands and over the Herøy Bridge out towards the seafront.
If you come from the south or east, you can take the underwater tunnel “Eiksundtunellen” which connects the mainland with Hareidlandet.
